The Houston Astros have taken MLB by storm, and they could get even better by acquiring this slugger from the Baltimore Orioles.

However, the team's latest move comes at the expense of fan-favorite slugger Jon Singleton. As Singleton's wife, Linzy Singleton, announced, the Astros have designated Singleton for Assignment. "Let me break the news." Linzy Singleton writes. "Jon was just DFA'd."

Part of why Houston struggled against the Athletics is health, as shortstop Jeremy Peña (rib) and third baseman Isaac Paredes (hamstring) are both on the 10-day IL.
