Amazon's Prime Video inked a deal with Lionsgate for an exclusive streaming window on the studio's films after an initial run on Starz.

You can now watch a broad selection of PBS programming on Amazon Prime for free even if you don’t have a subscription.

Starting in 2026, Prime Video will also be able to select premium titles from Lionsgate’s catalog, including the studio’s premium properties and iconic franchises such as “John Wick,” “Twilight,” “Divergent,” “Saw” and Emmy-winning television series like “Nurse Jackie” and “Weeds,” among others, to bring to its Prime members.

Amazon and Lionsgate have struck a streaming deal to have as many as 20 Lionsgate theatrical releases stream on Prime Video each year.

There are three comedies on Amazon Prime Video you need to watch in January 2025 that are particular favorites with great rewatch value. Two of them are classics from the 2000s and 2010s, while the third is a relatively new movie that subscribers will be excited to know is now available to watch with your Amazon Prime Video subscription.

The agreement will see titles like ‘Now You See Me 3' and ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping' land on the streamer after leaving cinemas and Starz's earlier exclusive first-run window.
