António José Seguro won the second round of the presidential election in the Algarve with 56.89% of the vote, reversing the result from the first round and defeating André Ventura across the Faro district . Seguro secured 114,728 votes in Sunday’s election, while Ventura finished with 43.11%, or 86,933 votes.
