As Houston faces the possibility of snow and freezing temperatures next week, the Houston Independent School District (HISD) is closely monitoring the situation.

Models indicate the likelihood of another arctic blast early next week which will likely bring the coldest air so far this season and the coldest air in about one year! We will likely go under a "COLD WEATHER ADVISORY" for early next week.
