DALLAS — A person was killed in a shooting Sunday afternoon in Northeast Dallas, police said. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call around 2 p.m. in the 6000 block of Ridgecrest Road, which is in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood.

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the child as Pranish Pradhan and the woman as Ranjana Shrestha. Their place of death was listed as 1918 Dudley Avenue, according to the medical examiner's report.

Three people were killed in a shooting early Saturday in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police said. According to a police spokesperson, officers responded to a shooting call at about 2:10 a.m. in the 1900 block of Dudley Avenue. Investigators determined multiple people were shot at the scene.
