Chicago weather: Quiet pattern will bring nice conditions for Halloween
CHICAGO - It has been a pleasant day with fairly seasonable temperatures in the mid to upper 50s this afternoon. Average highs for this late in October sit at 57 degrees with average lows near 41 degrees.
Readings could drop as low as the upper 40s, NBC 5 Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Brant Miller said. But overall, the forecast isn't bad compared to recent Halloweens. While last year was unseasonably warm, 2023 brought the second snowiest Halloween on record.
