GREEN BAY, Wis. — Cornerback Trevon Diggs was released by the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, three weeks after they claimed him off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. General manager Brian Gutekunst announced the move. The Packers claimed Diggs on Dec. 31, a day after the Cowboys waived him.
Diggs played 33 defensive snaps in the Packers’ regular-season finale against the Minnesota Vikings and had two solo tackles in the game. He played just one snap in the first quarter of the Packers’ wild-card loss to the Chicago Bears and finished with an assisted tackle.
