New York Mets All-Star outfielder Juan Soto struggled at the plate throughout portions of his first month with the organization.

The Mets completed a four-game sweep over the Cardinals with a 7-4 victory at Citi Field on Sunday, giving them nine wins in their first 10 games in Queens this season.

Francisco Lindor had three hits, including a leadoff homer, and the Mets completed a four-game sweep of St. Louis at home for the first time in franchise history. The club’s previous three four-game sweeps against the Cardinals came in St. Louis, the most recent in April 1986.
