Miller scored the winner at two minutes, 49 seconds of overtime with a wrist shot under Stuart Skinner’s blocker. Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch was unhappy with the way the game turned in the third period.

J.T. Miller served as the hero New York needed in extra time, with the Rangers captain finding the back of the net 2:49 into overtime. Before that, the Rangers erased a multi-goal deficit in the third frame with consecutive goals from Braden Schneider and Taylor Raddysh.
