Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri is set to be sidelined for “a few weeks” with a muscular injury sustained against Brighton & Hove Albion. The 17-year-old was forced off at half-time during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion with what Mikel Arteta would later describe as “a muscular thing”.

Arsenal have been dealt another injury blow after Mikel Arteta confirmed Ethan Nwaneri is facing a spell on the sidelines. Nwaneri suffered what Arteta has described as a “muscular injury” in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Brighton. The teenager was forced off at half-time after scoring the opening goal and Arteta said after the game it was “bad news”.
