Rangers recovered from an early scare to defeat Dundee United in a pulsating, end-to-end clash and pick up their first away win in seven attempts. Philippe Clement's side trail Celtic in the Scottish Premiership by 10 points and their poor away form - drawing their past three in the league - has put pressure on the Belgian manager.

The home side took the lead through loan striker Sam Dalby in the 19th minute but Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande levelled after 37 minutes and defender Robin Propper put his side ahead shortly after half-time with a deflected drive.

The Albanian forward will be a key man for Philippe Clement’s side when they return to Scottish Premiership action against Dundee United. But with Gers’ squad decimated by injury, Bajrami has backed the club’s youngsters to grab their opportunity.
