David Roach, a singer for the rock band Junkyard, has died just weeks after tying the knot with his wife Jennifer Roach.

Junkyard frontman David Roach has died at age 59, months after revealing that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer, the band announced on Instagram. The musician wed his partner Jennifer just two weeks before his death.

"He was a gifted artist, performer, songwriter, and singer-but above all, a devoted father, husband, and brother," Junkyard wrote of their late singer.
