Lamar Wilkerson scored 27 points, Nick Dorn added 23, Tucker DeVries had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, and Indiana routed Rutgers 82-59 on Friday night to end a four-game losing streak.

The Hoosiers went on the road and snapped a losing streak, shooting slump and played a complete game. Here's what stood out:

DeVries was one of three Hoosiers to reach 20 points tonight the Scarlet Knights. Lamar Wilkerson, who ended up with 27 points, led Indiana in scoring, but the real story was Nick Dorn, making his first start as a Hoosier tonight.

Indiana football is basking in the afterglow of an undefeated national championship season. The Hoosiers would like for some of that winning to rub off on the basketball team.

This season, the Hurricanes have found themselves in the College Football Playoff for the first time ever despite losing to teams like Louisville and SMU in the regular season.
