Bills coach Sean McDermott spoke about the contract standoff involving former Georgia star running back James Cook after another twist.

The Buffalo Bills' preseason games are officially underway, with the AFC Champs succumbing to the New York Giants 34-25 at Highmark Stadium, with Sean McDermott's team mounting a comeback of sorts that fell short.

While McDermott made it clear that the team is the focus, and that when a player is focused on themselves, they are, for better or worse, not actively or at least fully a part of the team, given recent events Cook getting back out there in uniform is a good sign and hopefully a step in the right direction.
