(WLOS) — An active weekend ahead with rounds of rain and eventually strong to possibly severe thunderstorms. The worst of the weather looks to happen on Sunday, Dec. 29. The exact timing is still a bit tricky, but the early part of Sunday will likely be most active.

The First Alert Weather Team says it’s going to be a warm weekend. Here’s what you can expect: Temperatures this morning are mild in the low 60s, with areas of fog that will persist until shortly after sunrise. It will be a relatively warm day, with highs in the middle to upper 70s and mostly cloudy skies.
