After falling to UCLA (in a nonconference game) and No. 16 UC Santa Barbara to drop to 9-3 on the year, the Trojans hosted the No. 10 Ducks at Great Park in Irvine in the first ever Big Ten series for both programs. Unfortunately for USC, things went the way of the visitors, with Oregon sweeping the series three games to none.

USC baseball’s season took another disappointing turn this weekend as it was swept by No. 9 Oregon in a three-game series at Great Park in Irvine. The losses extended the Trojan losing streak, which began with a tough defeat against crosstown rival UCLA on March 2, to five games.
