MILAN (AP) — Jordan Cowan hoists his camera mount and glides across the Olympic rink as figure skating competitors warm up and, later, take their bows. Dressed in an ice-white tuxedo, he is as inconspicuous as possible.

It's OK to enjoy figure skating without knowing what all the words mean. If you want to know more, though, here's a look at every kind of jump.

Costume: Figure skaters select outfits that match the style of their programs and the mood of their music. Women can wear a skirt or pants and men must wear full-length trousers, but not tights. Accessories, props and apparel that gives "the effect of excessive nudity" are not allowed.
