Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that firefighters were called to Bishop’s Castle after reports of a large vehicle fire.

A significant emergency response took place on Tuesday afternoon following an overturned heavy goods vehicle transporting hundreds of sheep near the Shropshire border.

Bishop’s Castle firefighters attended the house fire at Shelve, between the village on the Powys border and Minsterley.
