Perryman's suspension came a day after he was penalized for unnecessary roughness after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Dallas Cowboys wideout Ryan Flournoy. After making a catch, Flournoy found himself sitting on the ground. As Flournoy attempted to get up, Perryman came in to deliver hit directly to Flournoy's head.

Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman has been suspended by the NFL for the last two games of the regular season following an unnecessary roughness penalty in a 34-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Without Flournoy in the lineup, KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert will earn more snaps to finish the game for the Cowboys. George Pickens has been the team's No. 1 receiver in the game, topping 100 receiving yards after back-to-back quiet outings.
The Dallas Cowboys will be taking the field with a unique uniform combination for the first time in franchise history when they face the Washington Commanders.
