Foerster's IR placement come after the Flyers forward suffered a lower-body injury during the club's Nov. 1 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet also confirmed over the weekend that Foerster would miss a few games because of it.

Jonathan Huberdeau scored twice as the Calgary Flames edged the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 on Sunday in a sluggish matchup between two tired teams.
The Windsor Spitfires, in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 12-2-1-1 mark, are another possible destination for Luchanko. Windsor already has a Flyers first-round pick on their roster, too, in Jack Nesbitt, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 draft.
