Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The minimum age is 18 years. For DSP posts, the upper age limit is 27 years. For other posts, the upper age limit is 42 years.
HPSC released the HCS 2026 syllabus for Prelims & Mains. The HCS exam includes Prelims, Mains, and an Interview. Prelims 2026 has objective papers; Mains is descriptive.
