The New York Knicks plan to interview two head coaches who were fired during the 2024-25 season as they continue to seek a replacement for dismissed coach Tom Thibodeau, ESPN reported Saturday.
As Windhorst and Bontemps note, Kidd spent his 20th and final pro season as a player, 2012-13, with New York. The Hall of Famer helped the Knicks secure the No. 2 seed in the East and make the second round of the playoffs — where they lost to, you guessed it, the Pacers.
The Knicks are moving on to coaching candidates they don’t require permission to interview from their existing teams.
