A new entertainment venue could make its way to downtown Winston-Salem in the near future. On Tuesday, the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership unveiled a proposal for a 5,000-seat amphitheater.

The Winston-Salem downtown amphitheater project is slated to open in 2027, instead of next year, as it has expanded beyond the original planned project.
