A severe weather system is moving through North Texas on Tuesday, bringing possible hail, high winds and potential tornadoes to the Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service said areas north of Interstate 20 and west of Highway 281 will be under a moderate hail threat from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In Mineral Wells, Texas, a tornado with winds up to 145mph leveled homes and left five people injured. Across the South and Midwest, in the past 24 hours there have been more than 200 storm reports.
