After a small snow event in early January, a cold snap is headed toward the Southeast next week, dropping temperatures into the teens with a chance of snow.

An arctic blast will send temperatures across the United States plummeting as bitterly cold air that originated in Siberia will arrive from Canada by week’s end, bringing with it dangerously cold wind chills for millions of Americans.

Arctic air will dip into much of the United States this weekend, with temperatures reaching some of the lowest of the year.
