For the second time in a month, the Texas Longhorns are in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a lot on the line. After losing the SEC Championship game last month to the Georgia Bulldogs, the Longhorns are set to face off against the Arizona State Sun Devils on New Year’s Day in the Peach Bowl with the winner advancing to the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl on Jan.

Up until 2017, the Peach Drop was a consistent staple for people to help ring in the new year at Underground Atlanta. Then things changed.

The famous Peach Drop has returned Tuesday night to help Atlanta ring in the new year! After being canceled four times in the past five years, crowds will gather at Underground Atlanta to watch the giant peach drop at midnight.
