According to Jonathan Jones, the Jets are planning second interviews with Broncos assistant GM Darren Mougey and Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown for their general manager job. New York also completed a second interview for Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark on Tuesday.
Report: Broncos' Mougey Gets Second Interview for Jets GM Job
The Jets will conduct in-person second interviews with Broncos assistant GM Darren Mougey and Bengals senior personnel exec Trey Brown for their GM job tomorrow, per source. Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark was in Tuesday. Those are, for now, the only three finalists.
Broncos' Mougey to get second interview with Jets
He must have impressed because Mougey is one of only three known candidates who were called back for a second interview. A source confirmed to 9NEWS on Wednesday that Mougey, who is now the Broncos' assistant general manager, has been called back by the Jets for a second interview.

Now that Aaron Glenn has been hired as coach, the Jets have turned their full attention to finding a new general manager.

The Jets have found their head coach, now they need to find their General Manager. Aaron Glenn has agreed to a deal to coach the team and their search for a G.M. to work with him will expand to include at least two more interviews.
