2026 Big 12 football schedule features Notre Dame-BYU, 2 games in Europe and 9 league games per team
There will be two games in Europe. The Aer Lingus College Football Classic will feature Big 12 member TCU against North Carolina Aug. 29 in Dublin, Ireland. The Union Jack Classic will match Big 12 members Arizona State and Kansas on Sept. 19 at Wembley Stadium in London.
The 2026 Big 12 Conference football schedule released Wednesday includes all 16 programs playing nine conference games apiece, with a collective 13 nonconference games against Power Four opponents and Notre Dame.
The Big 12 has four protected rivalries, and three of the four games appear on different weekends. TCU at Baylor and Kansas at Kansas State compete on Oct. 17, while BYU at Utah takes place on Nov. 7. Arizona State at Arizona closes out the season on its traditional Thanksgiving weekend date.
During BYU’s and Utah’s joint 12-season tenure in the Mountain West Conference between 1999-2010, the Cougars and Utes battled in the regular-season finale every year except for 2001 and 2007.
