Charles Leclerc has spoken about the different qualities he has picked up from Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, compared to what he learned from Sebastian Vettel and Carlos Sainz. Leclerc met Hamilton in Maranello after Ferrari managed to lure the seven-time world champion away from Mercedes.

Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has backed Lewis Hamilton following another disappointing performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Seven-time world champion Hamilton qualified and finished 12th in an underwhelming showing at one of his best circuits, while teammate Charles Leclerc finished fourth after leading the early stages of Sunday’s race.

Hamilton and Ferrari in general received a boost ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, as a new multi-year contract for team principal Fred Vasseur was announced. His association with Hamilton stretches all the way back to Hamilton’s junior career, where he won the Formula 3 and GP2 titles under Vasseur’s watch.
