In the just under 48 hours since the CEO of a tech company who was caught in an in flagrante delicto moment with the company’s HR director, hundreds, if not thousands of memes have surfaced spoofing Astronomy CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot.
After the CEO kiss cam controversy, Coldplay's Chris Martin playfully warned fans they could be caught on camera, saying, "We're gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen."
Alex Jones shared a manipulated image on X, showing Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. This reignited old conspiracy theories. The post referenced a viral moment from a Coldplay concert. Trump's past association with Epstein is being revisited.
The concert mishap — which has yet to be publicly addressed by Mr. Byron, Ms. Cabot, or the company — has prompted users to dig up the social media accounts of those involved and inundate their pages with critical or, in the case of Ms. Byron, sympathetic messages.
