There was plenty of debate heading into UFC 316 as to whether Merab Dvalishvili had achieved bantamweight GOAT status. The thing is, after mauling Sean O'Malley once again, it’s getting hard to argue otherwise.

Both fighters put away their opponents by submission, with Dvalishvili (20-4 MMA, 13-2 UFC) tapping out Sean O'Malley in their rematch to defend his belt for a second time, while Harrison (19-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) forced a changing of the guard with a tapout of Julianna Peña in the co-main event at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Merab Dvalishvili believes that a fight against Alexandre Pantoja would be one that the people would be interested in.

The one defeat on that run came against recent title challenger Umar Nurmagomedov and he’s since bounced back from that setback by stopping flyweight legend Deiveson Figueiredo in May.
