The domestic box office has been somewhat sleepy for the better part of this year, thus far. However, it received a real jolt this past weekend with the debut of A Minecraft Movie, which absolutely dominated by bringing in major cash here in the states and overseas.

Costarring Jack Black, the film just beat a box office record previously held by 'Barbie' Jason Momoa is celebrating A Minecraft Movie becoming a box office hit. "All my Aloha to my incredible cast and crew!

Fans of Minecraft will recognize a few of the game’s elements in this scene from “A Minecraft Movie.” But the sequence is also a good comic excuse to stuff Jack Black and Jason Momoa into a mine cart together.
