Nvidia has ordered 300,000 H20 chips from Taiwan’s TSMC after U.S. President Donald Trump lifted restrictions that blocked the company from selling those chips to Chinese buyers, according to Reuters.

A week after Nvidia reportedly told its Chinese customers supplies of its H20 GPUs were limited and restarting production could take nine months, the company has ordered 300,000 chips from TSMC, Reuters said.
