A travel ban was lifted on influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, who are both charged with human trafficking in Romania, and they are headed to the United States, officials said Thursday.

Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate are temporarily free after returning to the U.S. and landing in Florida on Thursday. They were arrested in Romania in 2022 and are accused of rape, human trafficking and forming a gang to sexually exploit women.

Romania's Justice Minister Radu Marinescu has called for a public explanation into why controversial social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were allowed to leave the country on Thursday.
