Tommaso Ciampa announced Wednesday that his WWE tenure is coming to an end after 10 years with the company. In a statement posted on X, Ciampa noted that his WWE contract is set to expire "in the very near future," and he is "beyond excited" for the next and final decade of his pro wrestling career:
Ciampa shocked fans around the world by making his AEW debut on the January 28 episode of Dynamite. This was a quick transition for the ‘Psycho Killer’, as he had announced his departure from WWE just days before. Speaking with Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Ciampa said that he’s been eyeing a move to AEW for a long time.

It appears that the contract of a WWE SmackDown Superstar has officially expired. Last week, former NXT Champion and SmackDown Superstar Tommaso Ciampa took to social media to announce that he wouldn’t be re-signing with WWE when his contract expired.
Upon Tommaso Ciampa’s debut for All Elite Wrestling, he stepped up to the current TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe. They are set to go one-on-one with the title on the line at the 1/31 AEW Collision. Their history dates back to their days together in Ring of Honor.
