Tua Tagovailoa is out for the Miami Dolphins in a must-win game against the New York Jets and Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback in his place.

Some of the Dolphins' quarterbacks who have been willing to run in past years include Pat White, Ryan Tannehill, Jay Fiedler and Ryan Fitzpatrick. None of those players will be confused with RGIII. But Huntley, a native of Dania Beach, can be really dangerous with his legs.

The Miami Dolphins continue to approach Sunday’s game as if Tyler “Snoop” Huntley will start at quarterback for Tua Tagovailoa. As of Friday, Tagovailoa is in line to miss a second straight game with his hip injury when the Dolphins square off against the New York Jets in the regular-season finale with a playoff spot potentially on the line.

Tagovailoa ‘would be a limited participant,’ coach Mike McDaniel said, explaining that he’s ‘approaching it as though I think Snoop is starting today.’

Tyler Huntley is preparing to be the Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback for their season finale Sunday against the New York Jets, with Tua Tagovailoa unlikely to play, coach Mike McDaniel said Friday.
