Microsoft has quietly released Windows File Recovery, a text-based app for finding lost files.

Microsoft released today a new simplified version of the Windows File Recovery tool to test on the latest Windows 10 Insider build.

PC Tools File Recover does both undelete and raw recovery for a low price, but it could use some slight refining.
