NASCAR has rescheduled the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium for the second consecutive day, moving the event to Wednesday, Feb. 4 because of "the impacts of historic winter weather in Winston-Salem and across the North Carolina region."

Reflecting on that, NASCAR official Ben Kennedy shared an X post and wrote: "The track team has made progress on clearing the track. We’re monitoring one more snow storm arriving Friday evening / Saturday.

“In year one, we hit the jackpot,” said NASCAR’s Justin Swilling, who is in charge of the Clash on behalf of the sanctioning body. “This year, I wouldn’t say we’ve lost the bet, but we rolled the dice, and unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t want us to stay on schedule.”

NASCAR has postponed the preseason exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium until Monday night because of ice and snow blanketing the Winston-Salem area.
