At an intimate party in Soho recently, the designer Erdem Moralıoğlu introduced a screening of Maria (the Pablo Larraín-directed biopic centred around the last days of Maria Callas’s tumultuous life starring Angelina Jolie).
Netflix only acquired the US rights to the movie and after a limited theatrical run, the streaming service released Maria on December 11. So if you're in the US, you can watch the biopic right now. If you're in the UK and Ireland, though, you can now watch Maria as it is now out in cinemas following its release on January 10.
