MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) - Chairman of the CEC of Belarus Igor Karpenko met with Chairman of the CEC of Uzbekistan Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Central Election Commission. “There is no doubt that you have done your utmost to ensure that the election will be held at a high level,” Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev said.
The Chairman of Belarus’ CEC briefed his colleagues on the progress of the Presidential election campaign. During the meeting, the parties discussed joint work in the CIS Advisory Council of Heads of Electoral Bodies, as well as issues of further international co-operation.
