Less than a week after hosting Super Bowl LIX, it appears New Orleans and the Caesars Superdome are set for another major event in the near-future. WrestleVotes reports WWE is set to announce New Orleans as the host city for WrestleMania 42.

The Rock announced that New Orleans' Caesars Superdome will be the host of WrestleMania 42. The Rock made the announcement in New Orleans' Smoothie King Center, which hosted SmackDown on Friday. This will mark the third time WWE held WrestleMania in New Orleans.
The Rock returned to WWE programming on SmackDown with two purposes in mind. He announced Caesars Superdome in New Orleans will host WrestleMania 42, and he laid down quite an ultimatum before Cody Rhodes.
WrestleMania 42 will take place in New Orleans on April 11 and 12, 2026, at the Caesars Superdome, WWE announced. It is the third time the city will host the event.
In addition to the two-night stadium event in 2026, WWE will bring Raw, SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE World and the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony to New Orleans as well as a variety of community outreach events.
