The New England Patriots interviewed Chargers passing game coordinator Marcus Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy on Saturday.  Brady drew interest from the Patriots for their vacancy this offseason before they hired Josh McDaniels.
According to a source, the Patriots interviewed Josh McDaniels for their vacant offensive coordinator job. McDaniels, 48, has never worked on the same staff as Vrabel but he was a coach in New England when the former outside linebacker played.
The Patriots interviewed Josh McDaniels on Tuesday. Not surprisingly, they are expected to hire McDaniels as their offensive coordinator, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. McDaniels returns to a familiar job. He previously held that role from 2006-08 before becoming the Broncos’ head coach and from 2012-21 before taking over the Raiders.
