Texas and Ohio State are the two biggest NIL powerhouses in college football. The Longhorns have the Buckeyes beat in multiple key financial aspects, though.

Following the season, Texas quarterback Arch Manning spoke with ESPN's Marty Smith, revealing his thoughts on the current state of the Longhorns. Manning was asked about the influence of head coach Steve Sarkisian. He explained that he's grateful to have learned under Sarkisian, whom Manning described as a "smart" and "competitive" guy.

Dan Morrison of On3 Sports notes that there are not yet any details available regarding the specifics of the deal, but Manning already had over a $2 million edge over Duke freshman forward Cooper Flagg, whose NIL valuation is $4.3 million.

Manning has been with the Longhorns for two seasons. Throughout his time at Texas, he has recorded nine touchdowns and 969 yards through the air, four touchdowns and 115 yards on the ground. During the 2024 season, Ewers posted 31 touchdowns and 3,471 yards with a 65.8 completion percentage.
