PITTSBURGH (AP) — Jamie Oleksiak and Eeli Tolvanen scored 49 seconds apart in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit and rally the Seattle Kraken past the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Kakko's Icebreaker- With just under two minutes remaining in the third period, the Penguins pulled Jarry for an extra attacker, hoping to find the equalizer and force overtime. But instead, Seattle’s Kaapo Kakko sealed the deal, sending the puck into the empty net to give the Kraken the 4-2 win.
The decision comes 18 months after the club signed Jarry to a five-year deal with an average annual value of $5.375 million.
