Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner is coming off his best game of the season and now gets a favorable matchup Sunday against the struggling Carolina Panthers, who have lost four straight.

Conner, who has a career-high 1,500 scrimmage yards this season, suffered a right knee injury in the second half of the Cardinals’ Week 16 loss to the Panthers, eliminating them from playoff contention. He was not ruled out but spent the remainder of the game on the sidelines in a jacket and did not return.
