Some North Texas school districts are delaying the start of their day on Wednesday because of dangerously cold temperatures.

The FOX4 Weather Team said they are expecting a new record low for Thursday as temperatures dive to around -10 degrees.

The largest school districts have already announced plans to hold classes as normal on Wednesday, but some more rural schools have announced delays and closings.

Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight with additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches expected.
