BOSTON (AP) — Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm is likely out for the rest of the NHL season because of a knee injury, general manager Don Sweeney said Sunday.

He also ranked fifth among Bruins defensemen with 19:32 of average ice time, but two of the players above him, Henri Jokiharju and Hampus Lindholm, appeared in fewer than 20 games.

He also ranked second on the team with 16 power-play points, but injuries to Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) and Hampus Lindholm (kneecap) played a part in that production.
