Despite having a sensational run in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25, Karun Nair has missed out on India’s squad for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Nair stitched a dream return, scoring 725 runs in just seven innings at a jaw-dropping average of 752, leading Vidarbha to the summit clash against Karnataka.

Jasprit Bumrah was included in the India squad for the ICC Champions Trophy, however, he is not certain to play and his availability will depend on his fitness. The BCCI will get an update on Bumrah's fitness in early February.

India, who won the Champions Trophy in 2002 and 2013, will look for a third title under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
