CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. — A tornado touched down in the Crystal River area of Citrus County on Sunday, Spectrum Bay News 9's weather experts confirmed. It most likely started as a waterspout around 6 p.m.
Shortly after a waterspout was reportedly spotted just offshore from the Indiana Dunes State Park late Monday morning, the National Weather Service issued word that more could be on the way.
