An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 1:02 p.m. valid from Tuesday 10 p.m. until Friday Dec. 26, at 10 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

At 1:24 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch valid from Tuesday 10 p.m. until Friday Dec. 26, at 10 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

On Friday at 2:16 p.m. an updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Saturday at 10 a.m. for East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.

With winter weather forecasted Tuesday the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 3 is advising motorists in north central Pennsylvania to be aware of changing weather conditions and limit travel if possible.
